Wakefield Skip Sizes

Not sure of the skip size you will need? Then you can contact us and we can advise you on the one you will need. If you are in doubt as to the size you want the we would recomend that you choose a larger size. We will not be able to take an overloaded skip, and you don't want to have to order another one!

Please also note that there are certain items that we cant take in a skip, such as TV's, monitors, batteries, fridges or any type of dangerous or hazardous waste.

Mini Ship Hire Good for smaller amounts of household or garden waste. They are 0.76m high, 1.52m long and 1.22 meters wide. It is also known as a 'two yarder'.
Midi Skip Hire Bigger than a mini, ideal for larger amounts of garden or household waste. They are 0.97m high, 1.83m long and 1.29m wide. It is also known as a 'three - four yarder'.
Builders Skip The most comonly used skip. Ideal for larger domestic renovations, and used in the building trade. It is 1.22m high, 3.66m long and 1.68m wide. This is a 'six to eight yarder'.
Large Skip These are higher and longer than the builders skip so will hold more. They are 1.6m high, 4.2m long and 1.84m wide. It is a 'ten to fourteen yarder'
